Sponsors

Review sponsor applications, approve or reject them, and see how an approved sponsor reaches the public page.

The Sponsors screen lists the applications that sponsors have sent to the tournament and lets an admin approve, reject or reset each one. An approved sponsor appears in the Sponsors & Partners section of the tournament's public page.

The screen is the Sponsors entry under Records in the left rail, at the route /tournaments/{id}/admin/sponsors. Its heading reads Sponsorships, with the line Review and manage sponsor applications for your tournament. Sponsors apply from the tournament's own sponsor registration page, which the Sponsor link on the tournament page and the Sponsors row on the Public page hub both open.

What a status change does

  • Approve records who approved and when, and adds the sponsor to the public page. The public entry holds the sponsor's name, logo address if the profile has one, website, and a display tier. A sponsor already listed under the same name is replaced.
  • The display tier maps the application tier: Bronze to supporting, Silver to major, Gold to presenting and Platinum to title.
  • Reject on an application that was approved removes the sponsor from the public page. Reject on a pending application changes the status only.
  • Reset returns the status to pending and clears the approver. It does not remove a sponsor already listed on the public page. Use Reject to take a sponsor down.
  • No message is sent. The confirmation says approving or rejecting tells the sponsor, and the code sends no email or notice. The sponsor reads the status on their own sponsor page.
  • Records. Each change writes an entry named Sponsor application decided, with the new status.

What a sponsor fills in

The application form is outside the admin console and is listed here because its answers are what this screen shows.
