Terms of use.
The terms for using Meridian's website, Passage and Atlas. Coaching, consulting and software engagements also run under their own written agreement, which prevails where the two differ.

Who we are
Meridian (we), of Seattle, Washington, United States, runs this site. By using it you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
What the site is
The site describes our coaching, consulting and software work and lets you contact us. Nothing on it is an offer to contract. An engagement begins only when we both sign a written agreement. The rates on a coach's profile are a guide, and the agreement sets the price.
Accounts
Passage and Atlas accounts are personal. Keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. A student under 16 needs a parent's or guardian's consent to hold a Passage account.
We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why.
Using the site fairly
Do not disrupt the site, try to reach systems that are not public, collect data from it automatically at a rate that loads it, upload harmful code, pretend to be someone else, or use it for anything unlawful.
What you send us
What you submit, such as an inquiry, a message or a ballot, stays yours. You allow us to use it to answer you and to run the service you use. Submit only what you have the right to share.
Sending an inquiry does not create a contract or oblige us to reply.
Our content
The text, marks, designs and code on the site belong to Meridian or its licensors. You may link to any page and quote short passages with credit. Copying or republishing more needs our written permission.
Links to other sites
We link to other sites for your reference. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content.
Availability
We work to keep the site accurate and running. The site is provided as it is and as available, and to the extent the law allows, we make no promise that it will be uninterrupted, free of errors or fit for a particular purpose. We may change or withdraw any part of it.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Meridian is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the site. Our total liability for any claim about the site is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or 100 US dollars if you paid nothing.
Law and disputes
The laws of the State of Washington and of the United States govern these terms. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in King County, Washington.

Your region opens first, from where your connection comes from. Every region is here for anyone to read.

Some states do not allow certain warranties to be excluded or certain damages to be limited, so some of the limits above may not apply to you.
The EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland
If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in its courts.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else your law does not let us limit.
Everywhere else
If the law where you live gives you protection these terms cannot take away, you keep it.
Changes
We may change these terms, and we post each new version here with its effective date. Account holders hear of a material change by email before it applies, and may close their account if they do not accept it.
