Platform

Tournament software for debate.

Atlas is Meridian’s tournament software for leagues, clubs and educators. A director runs the whole tournament from one console.

Competitors, judges and coaches

Registering, judging or looking for pairings? Each tournament has its own page.

The workflow

Every stage of the tournament, in one place.

The director registers the field, releases each round, collects ballots and closes out without leaving Atlas.

Configure before registration opens

A preset fills in the format, first event, venue, pacing, scoring and tab rules. The director can change any of them.

Walkthrough

Twelve decisions, from setup to closeout.

The console below is the director’s view. Each step shows one decision in a sample tournament.

Platforming

From the ground up.

We built and scaled debate programs at clubs and schools. We developed camps, curriculum and guidebooks along the way.

Your data

Each result goes where your organization uses it.

Exports open in any spreadsheet. Webhooks send each result as it happens. An API and an MCP server let other software and AI assistants read what a director’s permissions allow.

The basics

What every director can count on.

Each one links to the console screen where it happens.

Your data stays yours.

Standings, records and every ballot export from the console. The organization keeps the record when the tournament ends.

Entry fits the event.

Registration fields, fees and judge requirements are set per tournament in Setup, so the form asks for what this event needs.

Ballots are kept.

Closeout hands the next director final standings, records, exports and every manual decision, with who made it and why.

A later state never hides an earlier failure.

Release waits on the disaster check, and standings wait on accepted ballots. Overview counts every stage and links each blocked item to the screen where it can be fixed.

Leagues and systems

Ask about licensing Atlas for your season.

Atlas runs registration, pairing, judge allocation and ballots for every tournament in the league, and keeps the league’s data and history in one place.

Camps and clubs

Run scrimmages without an ops team.

A scrimmage runs on the same console at the scale of a single day. Set it up once, register the field, pair and release rounds, and close out with a record.

Emerging programs

Start debate where it does not yet exist.

Meridian gives a new program coaches, curriculum and institutional support, and sponsors it if it cannot pay.

Running a league, camp or emerging program?

We take on a small number of institutions each season, and the founders read every inquiry.
