Joshua's coaching focuses on helping individual students debate excellently in their own style: speaking, evidence, and narrative presentation tuned to who they already are. He believes powerful debate is built on a deep understanding of arguments and the theories behind them, not on exaggeration or dishonesty.

He focuses on understanding the debate round in its entirety and weighing each argument to tailor a response. The work centers on the fundamentals of time management and narrative control.

Joshua specializes in argument generation for negative and case building for affirmative, giving students practical steps to improve quickly. He is excited to teach any student ready and willing to put in the work to excel in the skills debate refines.

  3. B-03 · PHILOSOPHY
    • Debate excellently in your own style.
    • Understanding beats exaggeration.
    • Weigh every argument; read the whole round.
